The Full Reset Your Home Needs a Few Times a Year

House Cleaning Now!™ provides deep cleaning services in Irvine and across Orange County, including Tustin, Lake Forest, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, and Mission Viejo. A deep clean covers everything in a standard clean plus the buildup areas: hand-washed baseboards, scrubbed grout and tile, blinds, door frames, light fixtures, vents, and the spaces behind and under furniture and appliances. Homeowners and renters book by call or text, with no contracts or cancellation fees.
“Deep cleaning” is the most loosely defined term in this industry. Ask five companies what it includes and you’ll get five different answers, and most won’t commit to one until the cleaner is already in your home. That’s how homeowners end up paying deep clean prices for a standard clean with extra adjectives.

Standard Clean vs. Deep Clean

Here's exactly where a deep clean goes further. No ambiguity, no judgment calls.

Task Standard Clean Deep Clean
Kitchen counters, sink, appliance exteriors
Bathrooms cleaned and disinfected
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping
Trash out, beds made, surfaces tidied
Baseboards and door frames hand-wiped
Shower grout, soap scum, hard water stains scrubbed
Blinds, ceiling fans, and light fixtures detailed
Inside microwave
Behind and under furniture and appliances*
Vents and window sills wiped
Cabinet fronts hand-wiped
After the deep clean, most clients keep the results with recurring cleaning every two to four weeks.

Four Signs It's Deep Clean Time

It's Been 3+ Months

If your last professional clean was a season ago (or never), buildup has outpaced what a standard clean can fix. Start with a deep clean, then maintain.

You Just Moved In

You don't know how the last residents lived, and you shouldn't have to find out. A deep clean makes the space yours before the boxes are even unpacked.

Guests Are Coming

Holidays, parties, in-laws with opinions. A deep clean gets the house to the standard you want people to remember.

Allergies Are Acting Up

Dust, dander, and pollen settle in the places regular cleaning skips: vents, fans, blinds, under furniture. A deep clean clears the reservoirs.

You'll Know Exactly What "Deep" Means Before We Arrive

Most companies keep "deep cleaning" vague on purpose. Vague scope means flexible effort. We publish the checklist, quote against it, and clean to it — so the deep clean you pay for is the deep clean you get.

A Published Checklist

Every deep clean task is listed on this page. What you read is what gets done, in every room.

Honest Time Estimates

Deep cleans take real time. We tell you upfront how long your home needs instead of rushing to fit a slot.

What Affects Your Deep Cleaning Price

Every quote is based on your actual home, not a one-size price sheet. Here's what moves the number:

Home Size

Bedrooms and especially bathrooms drive most of the time. Showers are the biggest single variable.

Time Since Last Clean

Six months of buildup takes longer than three. Be honest with us and the quote will be accurate.

Add-ons

Inside the oven, inside the fridge, and interior windows add time and are priced separately.

Pets

Shedding adds vacuuming time, especially on upholstery and under furniture. We love them anyway.

Deep Cleaning Questions

How is a deep clean different from a standard clean?

A standard clean maintains a home that's already in decent shape. A deep clean targets buildup: grout, soap scum, baseboards, blinds, fixtures, and the areas behind and under things. The comparison table above shows the exact differences.

How long does a deep clean take?

Most apartments and smaller homes take 3 to 5 hours. Larger homes or homes with heavy buildup can take 5 to 8. We give you an honest estimate with your quote.

How often should I get a deep clean?

Two to four times a year for most homes. Many clients do a deep clean first, then keep it maintained with recurring standard cleans every two to four weeks.

Do I need a deep clean before starting recurring service?

Usually, yes. Starting recurring service on a home with months of buildup means the first several visits fight old grime instead of maintaining. One deep clean resets the baseline.

Is inside the oven and fridge included?

They're add-ons, not defaults, because not everyone needs them. Mention either when you book and we'll include them in your quote.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?

Yes, everything: products, vacuum, mop, scrub tools. If you prefer specific products for stone counters or sensitive surfaces, tell us when you book.
